Bruce Stewart
"I have enjoyed drawing and painting since early childhood.
After studying Zoology and Art at UC Davis, I worked as a graphic artist in San
Francisco before studying marine science at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories.
My interest in the ocean evolved into a career devoted to increasing
public understanding of science and nature".
Jorge Garza
"As a young man, I studied architecture and received a degree
from the UIA in Mexico City. I have lived in San Diego since 1979
and in the last three years, have created over 100 new paintings on different
subjects including portraits, abstracts, landscapes, seascapes, etc. using
mainly oils and acrylics with a lavish use of the pallet knife".
