Established in 1965 the guild is dedicated to furthering artistic understanding and fosters artist growth of members and the community. As a non-profit we are managed by an all volunteer membership and host the Off Track Gallery, where you will find skilled visual artists and their works, at our current location, 937 S. Coast Hwy, Encinitas, CA. 92024.

SDAG Mosaic Demo a Huge Success, Feb 7, 2013

         

Over 90 participants had a great time today, creating! 
 The house was filled with enthusiasts who enjoyed, Artist, Don Myers at the San Dieguio Botanic Gardens. Projects were  created on every table and minds wondered into the world of "mosaics".

RSVP's closed two days earlier, as the requests kept pouring in! Thanks to the wonderful demonstration, it bursted the limits seams,  and was a  huge success.

February Gallery Featured Artist, Lynn Ely

Most of you know Lynn Ely, Board Member and our  Monthly Show Coordinator at the Off Track Gallery, what a great job she does for all!


Lynn Ely was born in Stockholm Sweden, and came with her family to southern California where she attended schools in Santa Monica and the San Fernando Valley.  Her B.A. degree from Calif. State Univ. at Northridge includes a specialization in art.  Her continuing studies in art include: design, ceramics, leaded stained glass, silver wire wrap jewelry, several different types of loom weaving, pine needle coiling, drawing, painting, collage, printmaking & composition.
